BEEF AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Washington CattleWomen Beef Ambassador Scholarship is given to a high school senior who plans to attend college and/or a freshman or sophomores enrolled in college.   This individual will be a spokesperson to educate consumers of all ages about beef nutrition, food safety, and stewardship practices of the beef industry.  A $500 scholarship is awarded to the recipient.

Meet ALEXIS ANDREWS

Alexis Andrews just graduated from Ellensburg High School and will be attending Casper College in Casper, Wyoming in the fall to pursue a degree in agriculture and animal science.  Alexis received the Washington State Star Farmer Award.  She was also selected by McGregor Company as a Standing Tall for American Agriculture scholarship winner.  McGregor offers this scholarship to recognize talented, young future agricultural leadership.  We are proud to have Alexis represent the beef industry in Washington this year and wish her good luck in Wyoming!
